So What is Castaway Bottles?
That's a darn good question. I mean, it's not like we've collected bottles that were washed ashore of some deserted island and offered them for sale on the web as if they were rare antique relics or something. No, no, no. Let's put a twist on the explanation... How many times have you no longer desired something to the point of casting it out of your life? Trash is cast out every day when no one wants it. Well, some trash can be recycled, right? Glass is particularly one of the easiest materials to recycle... yet many places have a hard time sorting it or accepting it, as it simply costs money to process into something new. So let's take glass bottles for a moment and try to think of a different use for them. If they're in good shape, aren't some bottles rather attractive decorations for a bar or kitchen or even a living room? (Now, I'm not advocating you promote drinking here, but seriously, wine bottles are a common decoration in many homes, at least!) Thus, a new purpose for glass refuse emerges. The bottles you cast away are the treasures you'll soon display!
